4. Liability & Insurance

4.1 Limitation of Liability

Golden Rocket Tours acts as a tour operator and arranges services on behalf of Travelers with third-party suppliers including transportation providers, accommodation operators, activity vendors, and local guides. While we carefully select all suppliers, Golden Rocket Tours is not liable for:

  • Loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by the act or omission of any third-party supplier
  • Loss or damage to personal baggage, equipment, or belongings
  • Delays or changes to transportation schedules, whether caused by weather, mechanical failure, or other circumstances
  • Losses arising from force majeure events (see Section 4.4)
  • Personal injury or death unless directly caused by our proven negligence

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Golden Rocket Tours’ total liability to any Traveler shall not exceed the total Tour Price paid by that Traveler.

4.2 Traveler Responsibility

By booking with Golden Rocket Tours, each Traveler acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Adventure and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, and participation is at the Traveler’s own risk
  • The Traveler is responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and suitability for any Tour or activity
  • The Traveler will follow all instructions given by guides, tour directors, and activity instructors
  • The Traveler accepts full responsibility for their own behavior and the safety of any minors in their care
  • Any damage caused by a Traveler to accommodation, vehicles, or equipment will be the financial responsibility of that Traveler

4.3 Travel Insurance — Mandatory Recommendation

Golden Rocket Tours strongly recommends that all Travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before departure. At minimum, we recommend coverage that includes:

  • Trip cancellation and curtailment
  • Emergency medical expenses and evacuation
  • Personal accident and liability
  • Baggage and personal effects
  • 24-hour emergency assistance

While travel insurance is not mandatory to book, Golden Rocket Tours strongly advises all Travelers to be insured. We accept no responsibility for costs incurred by uninsured Travelers that would otherwise have been covered by appropriate insurance.

4.4 Force Majeure

Golden Rocket Tours shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, acts of terrorism, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, or industrial action. In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to minimize disruption and will communicate with Travelers as promptly as possible.

4.5 Indemnification

The Traveler agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Golden Rocket Tours, its employees, guides, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the Traveler’s breach of these Terms, negligence, or willful misconduct.

5. Health & Safety Requirements

5.1 Fitness to Travel

It is the Traveler’s responsibility to ensure they are in good health and physically capable of undertaking the booked Tour. Golden Rocket Tours strongly recommends that Travelers consult their physician before booking if they have any pre-existing medical conditions, are pregnant, or have recently undergone surgery or medical treatment.

5.2 Medical Disclosure

Travelers must disclose any medical condition, disability, dietary requirement, or allergy that may affect their participation or require special assistance. This information must be provided in writing at the time of booking or as soon as the condition becomes known. Golden Rocket Tours will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements but cannot guarantee this in all circumstances. We reserve the right to decline a booking or remove a Traveler from a Tour if undisclosed medical conditions pose a risk to that Traveler or others.

5.3 Vaccinations & Entry Requirements

The Traveler is solely responsible for ensuring they meet all vaccination, health, and entry requirements for their destination(s). Requirements may change at short notice and Golden Rocket Tours cannot be held liable for any costs or consequences resulting from a Traveler’s failure to meet such requirements.

5.4 Conduct & Code of Behavior

All Travelers are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful of local cultures, fellow Travelers, guides, and the natural environment. Golden Rocket Tours reserves the right to remove any Traveler from a Tour without refund if their behavior:

  • Poses a risk to the health or safety of themselves or others
  • Is abusive, threatening, or harassing toward guides, staff, or fellow Travelers
  • Involves the use of illegal substances
  • Causes damage to property or the natural environment
  • Violates local laws or customs

The decision of the Tour Director or guide is final in all matters of conduct on-tour.

5.5 Alcohol & Substance Policy

The consumption of alcohol in moderation is permitted on Golden Rocket Tours experiences where legally allowed. Golden Rocket Tours does not permit the use of illegal substances on any Tour. Travelers who are visibly intoxicated at the commencement of any activity may be refused participation for safety reasons without refund.

5.6 Children & Minors

Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. The accompanying adult accepts full responsibility for the minor’s participation, conduct, and compliance with these Terms. Some tours or activities may have minimum age requirements which will be stated in the tour description.

5.7 Emergency Procedures

Golden Rocket Tours operates a 24/7 emergency contact line available to all Travelers during active tours. Emergency contact details are provided in the pre-departure documentation issued to all confirmed Travelers. All guides hold current first aid certifications and carry emergency communication equipment. In the event of a serious medical emergency, Golden Rocket Tours will coordinate with local emergency services and make every effort to arrange appropriate medical assistance. All costs associated with emergency medical treatment remain the Traveler’s responsibility.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Golden Rocket Tours collects and processes personal data provided during booking solely for the purposes of delivering our services, communicating with Travelers, and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full details of how we handle your data are set out in our Privacy Policy, available at goldenrockettours.com. By booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
